Things to lookout for when you are serving a Landlord:

  1. Ownership proof – purchase from INLIS (https://www.sla.gov.sg/inlis/#/)
    • Keep a copy of the EP or passes AND Passport details
    • Verify that the passes are valid. Check Β (https://eponline.mom.gov.sg/epol/PEPOLUAMT012DisplayAction.do)
  2. Do inventory list
  3. Photo taking of the house (part of the inventory list) and copy into CD for Landlord and Tenant to keep as proof
  4. Ensure Tenant has transferred the utilities to his account
  5. Ensure that the Tenancy Agreement contract is stamped by IRAS (within 14days upon signing of contract)
